Mick Skylark isn't your typical sports hero. He's a kid with a gift — an almost supernatural ability to read greens, judge angles, and sink impossible putts. Under the wing of his eccentric mentor Jonsey, Mick tears through the competitive mini golf circuit, becoming the youngest prodigy the sport has ever seen.
But when tragedy strikes — one that Mick believes is entirely his fault — he walks away from the game, his putter, and everything that once made him feel alive. Years pass. The trophies collect dust. The greens grow over without him.
Until life, as it tends to do, pulls him back in.
